“In Cine Guerrero, for example, Legna turned a cultural and battle-hardened act (fostered by the revolutionary epic through the name of a cinema in a provincial town) into a sexual act: "... we splashed the screen ..." and the poems mock here and there, splashing with irony as well, the doubleness of the interpretation of the name of a cinema, as much as the screen that became the propaganda billboard of a terrible time: discontinuous gestures, stains, and symbolic names.”
- Reina María Rodríguez
