Gerald Espinoza (Caracas, 1970). Visual artist, author and illustrator. He has been developing children's and youth books for more than 15 years, and has exhibited his artistic work in several cities. His book Perro Picado is considered an out-of-the-box and avant-garde work. His books have been recognized on the IBBY Honor List, in the selection of The Most Beautiful Books from the White Raven catalog and The Best from the Banco del Libro. It was recently the winner of the “12º Catálogo Iberoamérica Ilustra 2021”.
